Auto Detailing Equipment - Ensuring Complete Sanitization

Auto detailing equipment, such as carpet shampooers, steam cleaners, and pressure washers, offers complete interior and exterior detailing.

These machines are a must-have for any auto detailing business. Pressure washers clean car exteriors. Daimer® offers pressure washers for a range of commercial applications, including car detailing. Machines, such as the Super Max™ 6120SCW, are designed specifically for car wash applications. This machine has a flow rate of only 0.5 GPM and uses hot, 100 percent wet steam up to 250°F for removing grease, chewing gum, plant sap, hydrocarbons, and grime off car tires, wheels, windows, doors, and engines. The machine is often used for defrosting car exteriors during cold weather. If water availability is not a problem, you can use auto detailing equipment, such as Super Max™ 12800, Super Max™ 6000B, Super Max™ 12805, and similar models, with moderate flow rates for cleaning cars. These machines have pressure levels ranging from 1000 to 1500 psi, adequate for car washing minus the paint-damaging high pressure levels of industrial pressure washers.

For an interior car wash, choose from a range of auto detailing equipment featuring low flow technology and fast drying. Daimer® offers heated as well as non-heated carpet cleaning machines that are highly water efficient. Fast drying reduces the risk of mold and pest infestation, thus keeping the cramped, often ill-ventilated car interiors clean and odor free. Daimer®’s carpet cleaning machines are powerful tools for removing pet hair, stains, food residue, cigarette ash, and other dirt from carpets, car seats, and floor rugs. However, if you want to remove allergy-causing particles and organisms, such as dust mites, dander, pollen, cockroaches, and bedbugs, use a dry vapor steam cleaner. Steam cleaners are ideal for spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, and are offered with HEPA filtration systems and ATIS® anti-bacterial technology.

Auto Detailing Equipment that Takes Care of the Inside

A complete arsenal of auto detailing equipment includes units that deal with cleaning both the inside and outside of the vehicle. Cleaning car interiors can be more challenging that cleaning the outside. The carpet and upholstery is not only thick, it is not exposed to ready aeration or sunlight. This often forms the perfect conditions for germs and bacteria to take root, particularly in forgotten food or drink spills. Interior auto detailing equipment needs to be able to remove these kinds of deposits as completely as possible. At the same time, the auto detailing equipment should allow the interior to dry out quickly as well.

Daimer® understands the need for quick drying times when it comes to cleaning vehicle upholstery and carpeting. In most cases, the only way to dry these areas out is by simply keeping the doors open. In these awkward circumstances, it is no wonder that conventional cleaning methods often make it difficult for the interior to dry out completely. The result is usually a telltale damp or musty smell that can be hard to eliminate. Carpet cleaning units such as the XTreme Power® XPC-5700U and the XTreme Power® 5900IU use a special low water flow technology for cleaning. They rely more on suction and extraction powers to dislodge and remove dirt and debris.

This kind of auto detailing equipment allows for much faster drying times.

The XTreme Power® XPC-5700U allows carpets to dry in about 6 hours. The XTreme Power® 5900IU allows carpets to dry in about 2 hours with upholstery taking about an hour to dry.
